Explanation:

Dear Diary,

I’m back again. I am too nervous to stay still – the day has finally come. Endless row of 11 plus examinations, filled with tedious strands of countless questions which puzzle even Einstein.

As you know, my dearest companion, before any other examinations, I’m usually calm as a cucumber. Not today. This is one of the biggest examinations in my life. I’m simply too tense with fear to be peaceful. Anxiety is eating me up and suffocating me. No, things don’t seem that difficult, but I’m so anxious these days. Until tomorrow’s test papers are over, I won’t be able to breathe properly.

Factually speaking, I have always had a very sound sleep and now I’m missing it so much. Every night, during the countdown to the dreaded day, I wake up without any reason or need at all; I wake up panting. And guess what, my dear companion? Just when I try to study, my eyes start closing.

These past few days have been very busy and hectic for me. In order to do well, I have studied for at least 5 hours a day. I know right? In such a busy schedule, and yet I can fit in a whole 5 hours of study. I have burned midnight oil in the process, however. I do hope that this routine will help me score good marks because I have never studied like this before.

Bye for now,

{Your Name}
