Today was one of the best day ever in my life!! I had taken part in many competitions and had won insome but I have never participated in a competition related to dance.

Today I had represented my school for an 'Inter-school dance competition' because of my keen interest and also my parents agreed to this decision.

I had been burning the midnight oil and practicing really hard for this.... I had been waiting for this moment for a long time.

I was not so confident about it as always get nervous on stage but because of my hard work and dedication towards it I was successful in claiming some of the prizes.

I am one of those who gets nervous quite often, who are actually called 'the bundles of nerves'!

But I have to be brave enough to overcome all my fears. My friends motivated me and tried to boost up my moral.

I gave my best in the competition and now we all are waiting with baithed breath for the winner to be announced

Dear diary,

I am a person, who is daring enough and can get on to the stage. But, I have to be informed about a week ago. I cannot go onto the stage directly. If I am given time, I stand in front of the mirror, and practice and I am fearless.

But today, an incident occurred that still scares me. My teacher suddenly wanted me to distribute prizes on the stage. The student who was supposed to distribute prizes fell ill and took a leave. Now, I had the whole responsibility on me.

I had to distribute prizes in front of about 50000 people. I was extremely scared. But, I had thought in my mind - do not be scared, you can do it. This arose a bit of confidence in me, and I was successful.

At the end, my teacher said me ' You will be given the responsibility everytime'. I was kind of happy and kind of scared.
