Dear Diary,
I am feeling so sad today. The mother of my best friend has been admitted in a hospital for treatment of cancer. Today I was with my friend in the hospital the whole day.
I am heartbroken that Aunty Reetu has become so weak. She is not eating anything except for a few sips of fruit juice. I feel so sad for both of them. I never dreamed that something like this would happen to my best friend's mother. My friend must be feeling confused, shocked and helpless.
I am feeling so helpless too. I wish I could do something to make her better. I heard a lot of people saying that she will recover because the cancer was detected early. This gives me some comfort.
Good night. I catch up with you at the same time tomorrow. Hopefully with better news to tell you.
