Dear Diary
What an amazing day it was ! Today i was selected as a sacred member by my school for 5 days camping in the forests of Gir(in Gujarat) . I went there with my friends . The forest was an awesome place for camping. The place which we selected for camping was nearby a lake . I was surprised when i saw a lion sitting next to our guide . He told us that the lions of this forest won't harm you . He asked me if i want to touch that lion. At first i was a bit scared but then i gathered some courage and the touched him . It was an unforgettable experience . After that we burnt some camp fire and then we cooked some marshmallows over it . After eating them we went to sleep . Then we woke early at 6:30 .The rising sun was looking so beautiful after that we packed all our things and went back to our homes . It was an unforgettable camping experience for me . Hope to have one more like this in future too .
