Dear Diary
Today, while returning home from school, I was as happy as could be. I got 79/80 in English. But something strange happened in my way to home.
I saw a man, whose face was covered in hood, outside the school gate. I didn't pay attention. I heard footsteps behind me. I stopped dead in my tracks. I daren't look back. I was scared. Suddenly, I turned on my heels to see if someone was following me. But, to my relief, no one was around. It was a bit strange too. When I turned around once more to confirm, I saw the same hooded figure. I paced my legs. I was sweating all over. That man followed me for long. And when finally I was about to reach home, he grabbed me by the shoulder. I shrieked, trying to break free of his grip. But there was no one around. I panicked.
Then the man spoke, 'Relax! It's me! Uncle Joe! Happy Birthday, Herbert!' I was taken aback. I laughed and he joined me. Then we headed homewards together.
I narrated the whole incident, and my father laughed the loudest. How ironical! A stranger turns out to be a person whom I love.

Today, while I was at the beach a very frightening incident, took place. I had gone alone to the beach as my parents were busy. There were a group of college boys playing nearby. I managed to dodge them and started my walk. After my walk, I saw that one of them started following me. I got terrified and started walking fast.
Still, he kept following me till I reached home. I got to the lift of the apartment and so did he. I realized now that I cannot show him where I live. So I pressed the wrong floor and went to the house where I know a person lives who is a muscular person. Seeing him this boy just got back into the lift and ran away.
