Dear Diary,
After the high level celebrations of Diwali festival, which is basically the festival of lights and firecrackers, sisters all over India now getting ready for 'Bhai Dooj' – in which occasion, sisters celebrate their love by putting an auspicious tilak on the forehead of their brothers and perform an aarti showing him the light of the holy flame as a mark of love and protection from evil forces.
Bhai Dooj is celebrated every year on the third and last day of Diwali, which falls on a new moon night.
'Dooj'abreviate the second day after the new moon.
