Dear Diary:

Today I am going to share with you a very disappointing incident. As I was coming home after the school on my bicycle, I saw a crowd just a little distance away from our house. On reaching close to the crowd I found two groups of our school boys quarrelling and scuffling with each other.

A few adult passersby were trying to pacify the enraged boys. I saw a few of my classmates also standing in the crowd. I went up to them and asked them the reason behind the quarrel. One of my classmates informed me the boys were fighting because at the school one of the boys had spoken rudely with another boy while buying refreshments at the canteen during the break. The boy who had been spoken rudely had told the matter to his elder brother. Now the elder brother along with a gang of other boys had stopped him on the way and forced him to say sorry to his younger brother. The boy who had spoken rudely was not ready to say sorry; as a consequence heated arguments had ensued followed by scuffling. Fortunately, the passersby had intervened. I felt really bad that such a trivial issue that could have been settled peacefully was blown out of proportion.  How foolish the youngsters at times behave! The elders should instruct the children athome not to indulge in any unnecessary altercation or fight.

Dear diary,

Today I was coming back from school. Suddenly I saw two children quarraling with each other. I went there. They saw me and ignored. Then I hold their hands and asked why are they quarraling. One of them said that he has taken my chocolate. I smiled and asked them to stop quarraling. It is not good to fight on these minor issues. I told them that we must live with love and care for each other. We must try to help each other if possible. I asked them to say sorry to each other. They understood what I said and said sorry to each other.

I am very happy that I taught two children about moral value of life.
