Diary writing

You have been under lockdown for the past many months. Those days have been a roller

coaster of various emotions including fear, happiness, fun, sadness etc. maintain a personal

diary and write one diary entry each day sharing your feelings and emotions.​

Dear Diary,

If someone ever turns this page ever, be kind enough to tell them that today was the happiest day of my life. When I reached Lock Willow Farm House, I was so happy to see everyone thing around. I loved everything. It is a square house of about hundred years old. It has a veranda on the south and a porch in front. Around the house are Maple trees, Murmuring Pines and Hemlocks. The house is just beside the Conneticut way. There were barns across the road that obstructed the beautiful view but a lightning strike burnt it down. The room that I occupy is big and square, with adorable old-fashioned furniture and windows that have to be propped up on sticks and green shades trimmed with gold that fall down if you touch them. It has a big square mahogany table on which I'm going to spend the summer writing a novel. People in the house here are Mr. and Mrs. Semple and a hired girl and two hired men. I , Mr. and Mrs. Semple had ham, eggs, biscuits, honey, jelly-cake, pie, pickles, cheese and tea for supper. We had a great deal of conversation and they found me to be very entertaining. I am very happy and I love this place. With this I bid goodbye as tomorrow there is more to explore$.$
