yes,it is right that abhimanyu entered into chakravyuh but could not exist the same.it is believed that when abhimanyu was in the womb of her mom subhadra his father Arjuna told subhadra that how to enter into the chakravyuh even in the womb of her mom he was learning that how to enter into the chakravyuh, but while the time when Arjuna starts telling about that how to exit by that time she fall asleep due to which abhimanyu had not learnt that how to exit from chakravyuh...due to which this had become the main reason for the death of abhimanyu during the yudh of "Mahabharata."

At Mahabharata, from the Pandava side, only Lord Krishna and Arjuna knew the technique of entering and exiting  the  battle formation of Chakraville.
