Though Mahatma Gandhi initially did not support the use of weapons in freedom struggle, later he agreed with Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose’s idea of forming INA.
He believed that Netaji was capable of bringing independence for India, with the help of the Axis powers in World War II.
This change in Gandhiji’s outlook was mentioned by Maulana Abdul Kalam Azad in his book ‘India Wins Freedom’.
