We know the empirical formula which gives an approximate relationship,
(Mean - Mode) = 3(Mean - Median)
As in question,
Mean = 270
Median = 220
=> 270 - Mode = 3(270 - 220)
=> 270 - Mode = 3(50)
=> 270 - Mode = 150
=> Mode = 270 - 150
=> Mode = 120.
●So mode of data is 120
