Yeah for me at least Newry thought Ganga to be a holy river and I too but it's sad the people pollute it by deeps etc and said it as a holy practice also people pollute it by throwing garbage instead of respecting the river as our mother because water is essential for everyone's life and since ganga is a beautiful water source to us........
