It is a story about a prisoner named James Roderick Evans, who was a kleptomaniac and thus imprisoned for stealing.
However, he had a prior record of breaking the jail thrice.
So he was given utmost security while writing his O-level examination in German language, under the invigilation of Rev. Stuart McLeery.
But Evans managed to flee after injuring McLeery and impersonating as the cleric.
Injured McLeery offered to help the police in finding out Evans.
He accompanied them till Elsfield Way, where he was left in the office of Examination Board.
Actually, this was real Evans who impersonated as injured McLeery and fled safely.
