Answer:

No, I have never seen snow fall as I am in South Asian Continent. But I know that, both snowfall and rainfall are forms of water but in distinct forms of matter.

Rainfall:

  • Rainfall is a water material falling from clouds in a sort of pellet.
  • The light evaporates the air, which stays in the atmosphere like an unseen mist, until it then condenses into dust, and then rains.
  • Once water is heated, the condensation occurs.
  • This happens when the air cools around the cloud, and the vapor cools.
  • Then it descends to the earth as water droplets.

Snowfall:

  • Snowfall is a little ice crystal from star-like clouds.
  • The liquid in the atmosphere is shaped into small ice crystals, but the shape is decided by the cold that happens as they freeze.
  • This tends to snow when the temperature becomes warm in the atmosphere and the ice is melting into the stone.
  • Then they get hard to carry the cloud and drop like parachutes on the surface.
