Aristttle was a Greek scientist. As we all know that most of the knowledge in early ages came from Greek. So Aristotle was also student of plato which was among the first institutes of higher learning in west.

He gave the idea of observing physical phenomenon can pave ways for understanding the natural laws governing them.
