volume of the tank=52×35×40 cm³=72800 cm³

volume of the tank =capacity of the tank

40 L diesel=40000 cm³

therefore 72800 cm³=72.8 L

therefore , volume available=32.8L =32800 cm³

here length and breadth is remain unchanged

Available depth from the top =Available volume from the top /length ×breadth =32800/52×35 cm=18.02 cm
