Diff between renal pelvis and renal papilla

Renel pelvis

1) Renel pelvis is point of convergence of 2 or 3 major calaces.
2) Renel pelvis' main function is to act as funnel during urine flowing to ureter.


Renel papilla

1) Each renel papilla is surrounded by branch of renel pelvis called as "calyx".
2) The renel papilla is apex of renel pyramid.
