the difference Between slide transition and slide animation  are -

1. slide transition - it is the motion that we apply to the slides when we move from one slide to the other slide in a presentation. this feature is available in windows 7 . it adds a visual effect on the slide
2. slide animation - it is the effect applied on the text, images etc. of a slide . however, this effect is not available in windows 7. this option adds visual effect on the objects which represent on the slide.
