- It is the strong extensible attachment of a skeleton muscle to a bone.
- It contain thick parallel bundles of white collagen fibre.
- It is a non-elastic band.

Ligament :-
- It is a band of dense connective fibre which connects a bone with another bone.
- It contains both white collagen and yellow elastic fibres running in different direction.
- It is elastic band.
