The difference between parallel and series combinations action is as follow:

1.In parallel combination the two resistors are connected simultaneously across two points then they are said to be in parallel Where as in series combination the two resistors are connected end to end when they are said to be in series.

2. In series the current (I) across the resistor is same where as in parallel the current (I) across the resistors is different.

3. In series the potential difference (V) across the resistors is different whereas in parallel the potential difference V across the resistor is same.

4. Formula for series: R=R1+R2+R3

Formula for parallel: 1/R=1/R1+1/R2

5. An ammeter is connected in series whereas voltmeter is connected in parallel.

I hope it will help u buddy.

Pls mark it as brainliest ans.
