Answer:

A parasitic plant is a plant which derives its nutrition from another plant called host and in the process of obtaining its nutrition it also harms the host. example of a parasitic plant is cuscuta or amar bel The roots of the cuscuta are modified into the haustoria which penetrate into the stem tissue of the host plant and establish contact with the food conducting tissue and water conducting tissue that means vascular tissues of the host plant to derive its nutrition however an insectivorous plant is a plant which opens is nutrition by ingesting insects for example Venus flytrap and Pitcher plant.
