Meristematic tissue is the zone of actively dividing cells and responsible for the growth of the plant. Dermal tissue is the single layer of the cells. Which cover the plant body.
2.Meristematic tissues are present at various places in the plant like apical meristem and lateral meristem. While, dermal tissue is present everywhere on the plant. And form the barrier between the plant and environment.
3.Meristematic tissue is only for the growth. While, dermal tissue modifies for different functions. Like, for the absorption of the water and mineral in the root hairs, stem and leaves dermal tissues covers with cutin to prevent evaporation.
