meiosis has too round of genetic separation and cellular division while mitosis has one of each .in meiosis homologous separate leading to daughter cells that are not genetically identical. in mitosis the daughter cell has identical to Parent as well as each other

Difference b/w mitosis and meiosis:
Both play an important role in cell division
Mitosis - Growth cells
Meiosis - Sex cells
Mitosis:
Cells produced by Mitosis are identical to their parent cell genetically.
Only 1 cell division.
Takes short period of time.
Cells get multiplied.
And the no. of chromosomes is constant.
Meiosis:
Cells produced by Meiosis are not identical to their parent cell genetically.
Cell divides twice unlike the Mitosis cell division.
Takes long period of time.
Cells do not get multiplied.
And the no. of chromosomes is not constant.
Thanks
