difference b/w Na and Na+ in terms of no. of electrons

Na is having 11 electron.
Na+ IS HAVING 10electron hence 1 plus has been added

Na has 11 electrons on total where as Na+ loses one electron to gain the positive charge. Hence, the total number of electrons in Na+ are 10.
