difference b/w resistance and resistivity class 10

Resistivity is the property of the conductor due to which it offers resistance to the flow of current through it . It is measured by the resistance offered by 1m length of wire of that material of area of cross section 1 m2. Resistivity of the material depends only on its material and temperature.

resistivity is the property of a material that does not change with change in dimensions or temperature of conductor while resistance of a conductor depends on its dimensions and temperature
