Well the main difference between dominant and reccesive trait is that ....
Dominant trait always expresses itself in the presence of a reccesive gene as well.....it basically suppresses the reccesive one...
While reccesive trait only express itself when there is no dominant gene ....that is for expression of a reccesive trait both the alleles of a gene should be reccesive.....
Its a bit confusing ...bit I hope u understand and get that right....

Dominant traits are always expressed when the connected allele is dominant, even if only one copy of the dominant trait exists. Recessive traits are expressed only if both the connected alleles are recessive.
