meristematic tissue is found in growing parts of the plant such as tip of the shoot and roots ,, it continuously divides in order to promote growth ....

permanent tissue doesn't grow and is much more hard and durable its formed by changes in meristematic tissue as they age and lose th apparatus required for rapid division,,,they can be found in main stem an older branches of the plant
