Difference between 5 amp and 15 amp socket

5 amp socket are used for lightning circuit.... That means the appliances which take less than 5 amp current eg. Bulb, fan etc. wheras 15 amp socket if used in power circuit.... That means the appliances which take more than 5 amp current bt less than 15 amp current. Eg. Microwave, refrigerator etc.
