difference between a metropolitan and a city(5 points)

akgiri93gp9so1i: Cosmopolitan city is one in which people from different parts, with different languages, cultures and customs, live together.

Metropolitan city is one which is having a population of 40 lakhs and more. It is a core city linked with suburban areas and well connected to it.

A metropolitan city can also be a cosmopolitan city but not vice versa.

In India, the examples of metropolitan cities are Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai, Benguluru , Hyderabad.
