Difference between a two-digit number and the number obtained by interchanging the two digits is 45, what is the difference between two numbers

Let the number be 10x+y and its reverse will be 10y+x.

10x+y-(10+x) = 45

9x-9y=45, or

x-y=5

The difference between the two digits is 5.

So the possible numbers are 61 and 16, 72 and 27, 83 and 38, and 94 and 49.
