let the digit at ones place be x and at tens place be y
so number= 10y+x
if digits are interchanged then,
digit at ones place =y
digit at tens place=x
so,number= 10x+y
a/q
10y+x-(10x+y)=36
9y-9x =36
9(y-x)=36
y-x= 4

10x+y-10y-x=36
9x-9y= 36
x-y = 4
