Answer:

The Difference between the absorber layer and window layer is given below in the explanation part.

Explanation:

Window layer:

The window layer is defined as the layer in which it is made up of the combination of several oxides and these oxides may be made transparently. This fits in the solar cell band structure. In which if oxide will be given as transparent then the light automatically reaches the absorber. Then it shows the property of the Window layer. This also describes the difference between its energy levels for electrons which is called bandgap and the bandgap is much larger than the energy levels in the light with energies and that is also used to generate the electricity. The window layer cannot absorb the light.

Absorber Layer:

There are various techniques by which the amount of light can enter into the cell and the Absorber layer is one of the techniques in which light can enter into the cell. This cell absorbs the light and it cannot be transparent to others. In this layer, there are no several oxides which are used by the Absorber layer. The Absorber layer is used in Window Layer for observation of the light. There is no such bandgap in the Absorber layer.
