difference between emission spectrum and absorption:-)
1.emission spectrum is obtained when
radiations from the source are directly analyses in spectroscope while absorption spectrum is obtained when the white light is first passed through a substance and then transmitted light is analysed by spectroscope.
2. emission spectrum consists of bright lines separated by dark space while absorption spectrum consists dark lines otherwise all the part is filled with bright lines.
3. emission spectrum can be continuous spectrum or discontinuous spectrum while absorption spectrum can only form discontinuous spectrum.

The emission spectrum is the spectrum of radiation emitted by a substance that has absorbed energy. Atoms, molecules, and ions that have absorbed radiation are called ‘excited‘.
The absorption spectrum is the opposite of the emission spectrum.
