ACUTE DISEASE

some diseases last for only very short periods of time and these are called acute diseases.
eg- fever , headache , common cold etc...
in case of acute disease we do not lose weight,we do not become short of breath, do not feel tired.
these diseases will not have time to cause major effects on general health.
CHRONIC DISEASE

some diseases last for a long time ,even much as a lifetime these are called chronic diseases.
eg- TB, cancer,diabetes etc...
in case of chronic disease we lose weight, feel tired and become short of breath.
these diseases have very drastic long term effects on health.
