.Aerobic Respiration:
- Respiration which occurs in the presence of oxygen is called as aerobic respiration.
- It occurs in cytoplasm and mitochondria.
- The high amount of energy is produced
- Final product is carbon dioxide and water.
Anerobic Respiration:
- Respiration occurring in the absence of oxygen is known anaerobic respiration.
- Takes place in cytoplasm only.
- Less amount of energy is produced.
- Final products are Lactic acid (animal cells), carbon dioxide and ethanol (plant cell).
