Difference between alternative current and Direct current?

In direct current (DC), the electric charge (current) only flows in one direction. Electric charge in alternating current (AC), on the other hand, changes direction periodically. The voltage in AC circuits also periodically reverses because the current changes direction.

· The frequency of the alternating current is 50 to 60 hertz depends on the country standard, whereas the frequency of the direct current always remains zero. The power factor of the alternating current lies between zero to one, whereas the power factor of the direct current always remains one.

Hey sis here hi ur ans..

Direct current (DC) is the flow of electric charge in only one direction. Itis the steady state of a constant-voltage circuit. Most well-known applications, however, use a time-varying voltage source. Alternating current (AC) is the flow of electric charge that periodically reverses direction.
