Apoplast : it is the space outside the plasma membrane where the materials can easily diffuse.
this pathway occurs through cell wall.

Symplast : it is the inner side of a plasma membrane where water (and low molecular weight solutes)can easily diffuse.
this pathways occurs through cytoplasm.

✌️✌️hey mate here is the answer...

➡️Apoplast pathway of water movement:

•it consist of non living parts of plant body that is cell walls and intercellular spaces.
•There is little resistance in the movement of water.
•it is faster.
•metabolic state of root doesn't affect apoplast pathway.

➡️Symplast pathway:

• It consist of living parts of plant body that is protoplast connected by plasmodesmata.
•some resistance occurs in the movement of water through symplast.
•it is slightly slower.
•metabolic state of root directly affect symplast pathway.
