Difference between application and sales letter are:
- An application letter is written by job seekers. A sales letter is written by a company to introduce some new product or service to another company or individual, perhaps a potential client of the company.
- Application Letter should be formal and interesting to attract the attention and interest of the recipient to warrant at least an interview. The objective of an introductory sales letter is to create an awareness of the company's new product or service.
- The application letter should contain relevant information about the recipient to make a better consideration on this application . There may be some discount or special offer stated in the sales letter to entice the recipient.
