APPOSITION : The positioning of things or the condition of being side by side .

INTUSSUSCEPTION : Growth of cell wall by the deposition of cellulose .

APPOSITION :

Apposition is a kind of process in which layering of cellulose occurs. This layering occurs in the inner portion of a cell of a plant which helps to form secondary cell wall.

INTUSSUSCEPTION :

When cellulose is inserted into the spaces of the wall of the cell, then the process is called Intussusception. This results in increasement of the area of the cell portion.
