arteries takes blood away from heart to different parts of body.
Veins take blood to the heart for oxygenation.

Arteries have thick walls because the pressure of blood is more when it comes in arteries.
Veins have valves to ensure that blood should not flow back.

Only artery which takes impure blood is pulmonary artery.
only vein which takes putr blood is pulmonary vein.
Hope it will help you All the best☺
