Atrio Ventricular values are located at the aperture between the right auricle and left ventricle and left auricle and left ventricle.

Semilunar valves are located at the opening of the right ventricle into the pulmonary artery and at the point of oarigi of aorta from the left ventricle.

When the semilunar valves are closed at the beginning of ventricular diastole(expands) the sound produced is 'DUP'.

When the ventricular valves are closed the sound produced is 'LUBB'.

There are two types of ventricular valve:-Right atrio ventricular valve(tricuspid valve) and left atrio ventricular valve(bicuspid or mitral valve).

There are two types of semilunar valves:-Pulmonary semilunar valves and aortic semilunar valves.
