Autotrophs- organism that can make their own food are autotrophs.

Heterotrophs- organism that cannot make their own food and depend on others for their food are heterotrophs

AUTOTROPHS -- Organisms that can produce their own food, using materials from inorganic sources.

eg- algae, cyanobacteria, plants

HETEROTROPHS -- Organism that cannot manufacture its own.

therefore derives its intake of nutrition from other sources of organic carbon, mainly plant or animal matter.

eg- HUMANS
