Bengaluru and Bangalore are two names used interchangeably to refer to the same city, which is the capital of the Indian state of Karnataka. Bengaluru is the official name of the city and is used in official documents and by the government.

  • Bangalore, on the other hand, is the anglicized name of the city and was used during the British colonial era. Despite the official name change, Bangalore is still commonly used by many people and is widely recognized both within India and internationally.
  • Both names refer to the same city, which is known for its technology industry, beautiful parks and gardens, and rich cultural heritage.
