Khadar- 1)It has new alluvium. 2)It is not covered with stones and pebbles. 3)It has fertile soil. 4)It is suitable for agriculture. 5)It is densely populated.

the largest part of the northern plain is formed of older alluvial soil . they lie above the flood plain of the rivers and present a terrace like feature. this part is known as Bhangar . while the newer and younger deposits of the flood plains are called Khadar.they are renewed almost every year.
