Difference between business development associate and business development executive

It is a title frequently played around by the top management level people and hence the difference can be considerable or none at all.

Basically, a BDE is a person who should have a few years of experience in the same or atleast similar field (preferably Business Development of some other firm) while BD Manager is one rung up the ladder.

A Business Development Manager is responsible for overseeing all the activities and provide periodic and consolidated reports to their superior (MD, CEO, or rarely another superior manager). He/She is also responsible for taking major decisions regarding individual business verticals in line with the Company Management

A business development executive, such as myself, has the responsibilities ranging from preparing, evaluating and presenting business cases (opportunities and current business activities) to the BDM and provide as much insight into them helping BDM make better informed decisions quickly.

I purposely didn’t dwell into the specifics of my industry because then it would be a little too into the point and narrow in its scope.

if you are satisfy with my ans then mark me as a brainlist

if there is something wrong then kindly rectify it

This is a difficult question to answer as it depends on the organisation that uses the titles. But here are a few suggestions on how I see them vary.

A manager has responsibility for a budget, staff, or resources with autonomy.A manager may be a decision maker. An executive may be part of a team, or focus on one aspect of the business. An executive may not have autonomy on operational decisions.

It’s important to consider the roles in context.
