Difference between cell signallimg pathway of normal cell and cancer cell

in normal cells the signals are received from external surface of the cell to its internal surface with the help of receptors ,,,but when the receptors fails due to mutation the signal receiving also fails and the cells starts to grow vigorously without any control and fails apoptosis and leads to the formation of tumour called cancer
