For administrative planning and carrying out the activities planned for the people, Maharashtra has been divided into wards, which is known as Census ward. We know that there are wards uptill “E” Alphabet and they are also divided according to the zones, North, West, South, East.
Election wards are for the people who are standing for the election. If a person wants to stand for Election Ward “A”, he / she should belong to that place, should have interacted and done some good things to those people. This would give him/her to stand for that ward. This is the difference.
