centripetal force acts perpendicular to the displacement and centrifugal force is a pseudopodic force to pushes body away from center eg when we turn our car we are pushed towards the opposite direction

eashanbhatia: Where are the examples?

centripetal force is a force which acts on a body moving in a circular path and is directed towards the centre around which the body is moving.
ex:running clock, riding a car in circular motion, satellite orbiting a planet
centrifugal force is a force, arising from the body's inertia, which appears to act on a body moving in a circular path and is directed away from the centre around which the body is moving.
ex: laboratory centrifuge, washing machines, mud flying off a tire, children pushed out on a roundabout.

eashanbhatia: Pls give more examples of centrifugal force
