Difference between citric acid cycle and glyoxylate cycle

The major difference between both is that,glycoxylate cycle occurs in glycoxysome of germinating plants while TCA occurs in the mitochondria of animals.Glycoxylate cycle involves 5 steps,while TCA involves 8 steps.The enzyme isocitrate lyase,converts isocitrate to alpha-ketoglutrate in TVA cycle,but in glycoxylate cycle,it converts isocitrate to succinate and glycoxylate,where the name came from..........
