Concave mirror are converging mirror.
A spherical mirror whose reflecting surface is curved inwards, that is,faces towards the center of the sphere is called concave mirror.
Whereas convex mirror are diverging mirror.

In other words, if the mirror coating lies in the inside of the spherical surface, then it is known as a convex mirror. Convex means “curved or rounded like the outside of a sphere or circle”. Lenses have two focal points, one on either side of the lens. Aconcave mirror converges light to a focal point.
